At Sauna House we are proud to present our newest gus master, Karoline Kristensen, no less than a world champion in freestyle sauna gus. With her creative, present and deeply sensual approach to sauna gus, Karoline brings a whole new dimension to our sauna universe. She has not only raised the profession to an artistic level, she has also placed Denmark at the forefront of the international gus scene.
Who is Caroline?
Karoline is a well-known and respected name in the sauna community, both in Denmark and internationally. In recent years, she has built a reputation as one of the country's most talented and innovative sauna masters, and in the spring of 2025 she won the world championship in freestyle sauna sauna. A discipline where participants are judged on creativity, technique, use of scent, music and, not least, the atmosphere they manage to create in the sauna.
Freestyle saunagus differs from the classic form by having a freer framework, where the gus master can use performance, movement, storytelling and composition to tailor an experience that goes far beyond the ordinary.
